In high school and college, I took photography classes and fell in love with the medium. A few years have gone by since those classes, but my interest in photography has never wavered.
I believe that images help us tell the stories that make up our lives. Your stories deserve to be recorded and celebrated. There is extraordinary to be found in all our ordinary days.
My goal is to help you see and celebrate your moments, both big and small.
I approach photography much like my writing – with joy, curiosity, wonder, and intention. I want you and your family to feel your best while helping you tell your unique story.
Photography started as a way to document my travels. As my writing on my blog Coffee + Camo increased, I found myself in need of images to go with my writing. I found myself looking for reasons to pick up my camera.
As time went on, I found myself saying yes to friends in need of headshots. And what’s even more, I found myself enjoying it!
These days, I specialize in portraits (including family, maternity, and boudoir) and branding photography. Check out some of my favorite images below – I’d love to see if we can work together to capture your family’s story.
